Internet, taxes, rent and more! 85% of European consumers have at least one subscription! France and Spain are ahead of the pack with an average of 5.4 subscriptions per person, followed by the UK (4,3). Italy shows potential as well: 74% of Italians have already subscribed to an offer with an average of 2.2 subscriptions per person. These findings were concluded from our Pan-European survey “Europeans and the subscription model viewed from a payment perspective” with Elabe, which investigated the current consumer perspectives on, and awareness of, subscription and the payment methods associated with this new business model.
